L’australiano Michael Matthews conquista a Mende la quattordicesima tappa del Tour de France 2022. L’alfiere del Team BikeExchange-Jayco nel finale in salita rimonta e supera l’azzurro Alberto Bettiol(EF Education- Easy Post) andando a concludere in solitaria la quarta affermazione alla Grande Bouclé. Terzo posto di giornata per Thibaut Pinot(Groupama). Lunga fuga portata a termine di 23 corridori. La Maglia Gialla Jonas Vingegaard(Jumbo-Visma) e il rivale Tadej Pogacar(UAE Emirates) sono arrivati insieme ad oltre dodici minuti dal vincitore. La coppia della Ineos Grenadiers, Geraint Thomas e Adam Yates hanno perso terreno. Domani domenica 17 luglio quindicesima frazione, da Rodez- a Carcassonne di km 200.

Siamo quasi alla fine della seconda settimana del Tour de France. Una tappa di media montagna, con il via da Saint- Etienne con cinque G.P.M., ultimo strappo al Cote’ de la Croix Neuve,  3 km al 10%. In cima mancheranno solo 1500 metri all’arrivo di Mende. Tadej Pogacar tenta di recuperare terreno.

Ventiquattresima vittoria della Danimarca al Tour de France 2022. L’ex iridato, il velocista Mads Pedersen(Trek- Segafredo) vince facilmente allo sprint sul traguardo di Saint- Etienne, superando il britannico Fred Wright(Bahrain- Victorious) e il canadese Hugo Houle(Israel- Premier Tech). Solo sesto Filippo Ganna a 32″ secondi(Ineos Grenadiers). Il gruppo a oltre cinque minuti regolato da Wout Van Aert(Jumbo-Visma). In Maglia Gialla resta sempre Jonas Vingegaard(Jumbo-Visma). Domani sabato 16 luglio in programma la quattordicesima frazione, da Saint- Etienne a Mende di km 195.

Altra giornata alpina emozionante e spettacolare la dodicesima tappa del Tour de France 2022. Sul traguardo ai 1840 metri si è imposto alla grande il giovane britannico Tom Pidcock(Ineos Grenadiers) che ha distanziato di 48″ secondi il sudafricano Louis Meintjes(Intermarche’-Wanty-Gobert). Terzo posto per il brillante Chris Froome(Israel- Premier Tech), vincitore di quattro Tour. Quarta posizione per lo statunitense Neilson Powless(EF Education- Easy Post), mentre Tadej Pogacar(UAE Emirates) batte allo sprint la Maglia Gialla Jonas Vingegaard(Jumbo-Visma). Ottimo decimo posto per l’abruzzese Giulio Ciccone(Trek- Segafredo) passato primo al Col Croix de Fer nella fuga di giornata di dieci corridori. Domani tredicesima frazione, da Borg d’Oisans a Saint- Etienne di km 192.

È la seconda tappa alpina consecutiva del Tour de France. Si parte da Briancon, poi subito il Galibier affrontato dall’altro versante meno impegnativo. Croix de Fer, 29 km al 5,2%, dopodiché dovranno affrontare la mitica salita finale di 13,8 km all’8 per cento ai 1850 metri dell’Alpe d’Huez. Nel 2018 vinse Thomas. Se oggi Vingegaard  ancora stacca tutti vince il Tour. Pogacar tenta l’assalto.

Giornata spettacolare nell’undicesima tappa del Tour de France 2022. Sulla salita del Galibier scoppia la bagarre tra i big, con la Jumbo-Visma che attacca a ripetizione Tadej Pogacar(UAE Emirates). Sulla mitica montagna passa per primo il transalpino Warren Barguil(Arkea- Samsic) che viene ripreso nel finale dal danese Jonas Vingegaard(Jumbo-Visma che va a prendersi tappa e Maglia Gialla. A quasi un minuto arriva uno splendido Nairo Quintana(Arkea-Samsic, mentre terzo è giunto l’ottimo Romain Bardet(DSM) a 1’10” dal vincitore. Grave crisi di Pogacar arrivato a 2’52”. Domani in programma la dodicesima frazione, Briancon- Alpe D’Huez di km 166.

Finalmente, arriva il tappone alpino di quest’edizione del Tour de France. Da Albertville- al Col du Granon con una serie di salite difficile e molto dure. Il Col du Telegraphe coi suoi 12 km al 7,1%. Poi il Galibier di 17,7 km è il Souvenir Henry Desgrange, la Cima Coppi in Italia. L’ultima ascesa sono gli ultimi 11 km al 9,2 per cento che portano in cima al Col du Granon.

Nella prima tappa alpina sul traguardo di Megeve, il danese Magnus Cort Nielsen(EF Education- Easy Post) vince al fotofinish su Nick Schultz(TeamBikeExchange- Jayco) la decima frazione del Tour de France 2022. Per pochi secondi Tadej Pogacar(UAE Emirates) mantiene la Maglia Gialla. Fuga di giornata decisiva di 25 uomini, tra cui gli azzurri Velasco, Sbaragli e Bettiol che è rimasto in avanscoperta per una ventina di km. Terzo posto a 7″ per lo spagnolo Luis Leon Sanchez(Bahrain- Victorious). Il gruppo dei migliori è giunto a 8’54” regolato dal leader Pogacar. Domani undicesima frazione, da Albertville- Col du Granon Serre Chevalier di km 149. Arrivo in quota a 2.400 metri.
